历史沿革[edit]

龙山在1950年是乡一级的镇，1987年改称圩，到2000年11月才设龙山社区居委会，名称沿用至今[1]。

人口与经济[edit]

社区有常住1078户、2520人，另有暂住人口约3000人；社区划分为六个居民小区：小陈涌、梅大塘、直街、忠门里、涌南和龙峰山[2]。区内以龙山大道、龙峰大道为主轴，有工商企业近百家，个体工商户约200户[2]。
