陈涌社区是广东省佛山市顺德区龙江镇的社区，在镇的西部，与南海区九江镇接壤，总面积3.4平方千米[1][2]。明万历年间（1573年至1619年）建村，镇内的梅氏大宗祠、陈氏宗祠两处佛山市文物保护单位在这里[1][3][4]。
历史沿革[edit]
村落建于明朝万历年间，因陈姓人口较多、村旁河涌宽阔（当地称河为涌），叫大陈涌，后来与小陈涌并称陈涌[1]。历史上一直有“大陈涌”“小陈涌”之分；新中国成立后归第七区龙山镇；1956年分建芹溪、鳌丰两社，1962年10月两者合并，成为陈涌大队；其后经乡、村、管理区、村委会的变化，至2003年改为陈涌居委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
社区有常住1056户、4265人，流动人口3800人；设14个居民小区和一个农村股份合作社[2]。325国道、佛开高速公路、龙高公路和顺番路经过辖区[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
梅氏大宗祠在小陈涌路2号，始建于明代，清代的雍正年间、同治四年（1865年）和光绪年间先后重修，坐西北向东南，面阔三间、进深三进，梁架上雕有繁复的人物花鸟，头门墙楣存有“教子朝天图”等壁画[3]。陈氏宗祠与之同在小陈涌路2号，为清代风格，面阔三间、进深两进，门枕石上浮雕鹿、鹊、鹤、狮、竹等纹饰[4]。两祠均于2006年10月25日列入第四批佛山市文物保护单位[3][4]。
