历史沿革[edit]
此地原是一片基地，远望像麦苗，故称麦塱，后来为书写方便，“塱”被写作“朗”[1]。1950年为麦朗乡，1956年并入里海乡，1958年又成立麦朗大队；1961年一度拆为麦朗、升平、中兴、南兴四个大队，1963年合回一个。后来依次改为乡、村、管理区，1999年设村委会，沿用至今[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村里户籍人口3968人，共951户，另有暂住者3000人；2009年工农业总产值为3.43亿元，工业占2.83亿元，农业为5990万元[2]。
荣誉[edit]
麦朗村在2020年至2022年连续三年列入阿里研究院等发布的淘宝村名单[1]。
