新华西村是广东省佛山市顺德区龙江镇的行政村，前身是华西村；省级文物保护单位察院陈公祠在村内的北华[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

此村前身华西村在1950年隶属龙塘乡；1952年土改时，北华改称华东，华西之西仍称华西；1958年成立华西大队，其后依次改称乡、村、管理区（1990年）[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

察院陈公祠在华楼路，清道光十年（1830年）前后由华西陈姓族人为祭祀先人陈珷而建，为两进两廊的四合院布局，面宽28米，进深40米，占地逾1100平方米[2][3]。祠内左廊嵌清代碑刻三块，记述陈珷事迹；据县志、乡志，陈珷为华西人，明成化五年（1466年）考中进士，后任云南按察使[2]。该祠2006年先成为顺德区文物保护单位，再于2008年11月列入第五批广东省文物保护单位[2]。

新华西村在2020年至2022年连续三年列入阿里研究院等发布的淘宝村名单[1]。
