水藤村在佛山市顺德区乐从镇西南面，与乐从国际家具城相连，紧靠325国道，面积约5.56平方千米，村名来自水底一条状如山藤的泥脊[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

鸡头渡口至迳口水闸之间的水底有一道像山藤的泥脊，退潮时可见，村因此叫水藤[1]。村子建于南宋，民国时属水藤堡，新中国成立后隶水藤乡；大队之名始于1958年，1999年2月起为水藤村委会[1]。

经济与人口[edit]

辖区内的家具、木材类市场有龙威家具材料城、水藤国际木业材料市场、东鸣和南豪两家国际家具城等[2]。村情材料记常住9087人，2735户，耕地3012亩，其中鱼塘1982亩，下设17个村民小组；北围工业区面积600多亩，有厂房、商铺、仓库340多间[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

  • 隔塘邓氏大宗祠：在隔塘大街10号，始建于明末，道光三年（1823年）重建，1999年再修；中座是用鸭屎石砌的四柱三间牌坊，正面刻“文章华国”、背面刻“诗礼传家”；2009年7月列为第四批顺德区文物保护单位[3]。
  • 玉麟桥：在下沙坊，跨水腾涌，1828年建，单孔梁式石板桥，长7米、宽1.5米，2009年7月16日公布为顺德区文物保护单位[4]。
  • 马姓回甦井：在先扬马巷，元代提督马良佐之孙马聪开凿，又称朱砂井，井栏用鸭屎石，被称为顺德保存最好的元代古井，2006年10月25日列为第四批佛山市文物保护单位[5]。
