爱国社区是佛山市南海区西樵镇的社区，属镇的主城区。土改后这里属岭中乡；合作化时，村里办起爱国农业生产合作社，村名就此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1927年归简村堡管，1949年初划归简官乡。到1958年10月成立人民公社时，这里是岭中大队的一部分；1961年8月简村分出去另设联星大队，爱国也单立一队，1963年2月又并回岭中大队。[1]

1983年底成立爱国乡，其后改称行政村、管理区，1999年5月再称行政村。2013年「村改居」，设立爱国居民委员会。[1]

2024年8月，爱国社区进入佛山市「百千万工程」第二批典型镇村名单；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
