高美村是汕头市潮南区两英镇西南部的行政村，合并了高丰、埔美等七个自然村[1]。

名称与沿革[edit]

七个自然村（含高丰、埔美）并成一村，统称高美；明万历年间（1573—1619年）立村[1]。

1950年上坝、下坝、埔尾属四美乡，高丰、蔡厝、下新则属河浦乡；公社化时分为上坝、下坝大队，1986年合并成高美村委会[1]。

经济[edit]

全村9162人、1621户，耕地1579亩，建有高丰、埔尾、上下坝三所小学及幼儿园；2009年工业产值2000万元[1]。高美村2020、2021、2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单[1]。
