历史沿革[edit]
隆庆年间，姓古的先人在这里搭寮落脚，称古厝寮，后改称古厝[1]。
公社化时这里分设古厝、龙岭两个大队，1983年两队合并为古厝乡，1986年建居委会，1999年恢复居委会之名[1]。
社区概况[edit]
社区分6个村民小组，共1624户、8862人，土地1208多亩，耕地293亩；做针织服装或相关配套的企业、作坊有30多家，2009年工业总产值5.6亿元[1]。2026年3月，古厝被认定为百千万工程的第三批广东省典型村镇[1]。
