名称与沿革[edit]
明崇祯年间（1628—1644年），钟氏祖先来此定居并建窑制陶，村称缶窑，后取“永远丰盛”之意改名永丰[1]。
1950年起属古厝乡，公社化时归美新大队；1977年，永新大队拆成永丰、新圩两个大队，1986年永丰设居委会，1999年恢复此名[1]。
产业与文化[edit]
光绪五年（1879年），永丰钟盛壁一支的四家犁鼎店合办了钟翔龙鼎厂；维基百科称，潮州城名产龙湫鼎的主要制作师傅就出自钟盛壁后人[2]。1988年8月，永丰英歌队受邀到北京，参加全国艺术院校第二届中国舞比赛的演出[2]。
社区3913人、657户，耕地115亩；有近40家企业（9家规模以上）和115户家庭作坊，工业总产值每年1.8亿元[1]。2018年，社区进入广东省民主法治示范创建名单[1]。
