东北村是汕头市潮南区两英镇大南山北麓的行政村，由主村与石新、石老、石美三个属村组成，是半山区的革命老区村[1]。
名称与沿革[edit]
东北与西新原是同一村落瓯坑，明宣德年间（1426—1435年）立村，后分为二[1]。
1950年石新、石美、石老同属金瓯乡，公社化时归东瓯大队，1983年建东北乡，1986年改设东北村委会[1]。
概况[edit]
全村11907人、2091户，面积9.8平方千米[1]。2008年1月被授予全国民主法治示范村；2020至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单[1]。
