墙老社区位于汕头市潮南区两英镇集镇中心，南临两英大溪，司神公路穿过，面积2平方千米[1]。它与墙新原为一个墙围村。
名称与沿革[edit]
墙围之名来自宅外筑墙，后分为墙老、墙新两处[1]。清康熙十九年（1680年），居民先祖由普宁前山仔迁到潮阳黄陇都墙围[1]。
1958年归陈洋大队，1975年陈洋大队拆为陈老、后沟，1979年陈老再分为陈库、墙老两个大队；1986年建墙老居委会，1999年恢复此名[1]。

社区总人口2326人，设6个村民小组；墙围老乡以鸡、鹅、鸭种苗闻名，曾有“墙围孵鸡仔之乡”的美称[1]。
