河浦社区在汕头市潮南区两英镇腹地，下含赤土、振和、新村、老村、河边、路尾六个自然村，约2平方千米[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
天启五年（1625年），先民从今河浦镇的河浦村分迁到此搭寮，叫河浦寮村，后简称河浦[1]。
公社化时划归高堂大队；1977年上塘划出并入西陇大队；1983年建河浦乡，1986年改居委会，1999年复称河浦居委会[1]。
