东洋社区是汕头市潮阳区贵屿镇的社区，位于全镇东部，东面与铜盂镇相邻，博雅地名网将其归为镇中心区。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区在潮阳区西南部，东边与铜盂镇接壤，西南面是联堤社区。面积4.68平方千米，其中耕地2331.6亩、林地2409.2亩；有1747户、9731人（年份未注明）。2013年工农业总产值19459万元，工业部分为18016万元，农业部分为1443万元，社区内规模以上企业6家，农民人均的纯收入为7865元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

名称得自它在南阳一带东部的田洋。明宣德年间（1426至1435年），先人从联堤的聚落分出，来此定居，称东洋村；1958年编为生产大队，此后依次改为乡（1984年）、村委会、管理区（1988年），1999年改为居委会。[1]

近年的荣誉有：2017年10月入选第一批广东省卫生村；2020年12月进入省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建名单；2022年1月被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位」；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
