东凤村在汕头市潮阳区西胪镇，位于榕江出海口牛田洋湾西岸，东面隔榕江与揭东相望，俗称「凤山庄」[1]。面积6.65平方千米，有14854人、2670户[1]。村内的凤山庄抗日杀敌自卫中队旧址为汕头市文物保护单位[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

旧属潮阳县竹山都，是凤山乡的东社。明洪武十八年（1385年）祖先到此建村，名凤山村；清代各姓迁入，以李、庄、郑三姓为主，分成凤山李、凤山庄、凤山郑三村。1956年凤山庄改称凤二村，1961年编为生产大队，1984年改乡，1988年起为管理区，1999年起为村委会[1]。村名取自凤山，因两座小山形似双凤，村在其东而名东凤[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

「凤山庄抗日杀敌自卫中队旧址（绍聪祖祠）」位于大沟围路，是民国时期建筑，2010年3月被汕头市公布为文物保护单位[1]。

经济[edit]

耕地3638亩，海淡水养殖2400亩；2013年村集体收入249万元，农民年人均收入6769元[1]。2019年9月，东凤村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
