历史沿革[edit]
明洪武十八年（1385年）建村，初名凤山，后分凤山李、凤山庄、凤山郑三村；1956年凤山郑改称凤三村，1961年编为生产大队，1984年改乡，1988年起为管理区，1999年起为村委会[1]。因位于凤山之南得名[2]。
白屿与苏六娘[edit]
潮剧《苏六娘》中的苏六娘，传葬于南凤的白屿围[1]。百度百科记白屿岛上有明代郑成功部将邱辉屯兵遗迹，以及清代潮州总兵方耀的粮仓遗址[3]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
耕地1240亩，海淡水养殖1300多亩，在外施工队伍50多支；2013年村集体收入217.08万元，农民年人均收入6450元[1]。2019年9月入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位，2026年3月被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇[1]。
