新桥村是曲江区大塘镇下辖的行政村。当地修筑公路和桥梁、改变乡村面貌，村名因此取作新桥。[1]村委会在镇政府驻地以西12.3公里，有13个村民小组，508户2310人。[1]国家产业政策调整、煤炭资源关闭后，村里转向生猪和肉鸡养殖，全村年畜牧业总产值达4830万元。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村正南约300米的蛇岭山腰有仙人塔，即曲江仙人塔，始建于北宋，八角形砖塔，为广东省文物保护单位。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
县人民政府成立的1949年10月，这里设心桥乡政府，属第四区；1951年5月称新桥村政府；1952年3月称新桥乡，属马坝区；公社化时期（1961年3月起）为大塘公社的新桥大队；撤社建乡改革后的1983年11月起称新桥乡，到1986年12月又定名新桥村委会，其间1989年曾叫管理区，1998年12月恢复村委会之名。[1]
