福岛社区是汕头市金平区鮀莲街道下辖的社区，位于汕头市最西端，与揭阳市地都镇交界，在鸡笼山南麓，居委会设在圈内路1号。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1997年以前这里是福斗村，归莲塘乡管辖；1997年撤村建居，成立福岛社区居委会。村名取「因祸得福」之意。[1]
地理环境[edit]
东临新辽社区，北临206国道，西、南两面是揭阳市地界。居委总面积0.32平方公里。[1]
人口民族[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，有1081人，其中农业户口831人；党员31人。[1]
经济[edit]
基本农田有500多亩，鱼池100多亩；居民以农业生产为主，辖区内有福岛小学。该页称其为贫困居委。[1]
文化[edit]
福岛社区是2017年10月评出的「第一批广东省卫生村」之一，2026年3月又被认定为省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
