大场社区是汕头市金平区鮀莲街道下辖的社区，背靠桑浦山南麓，西南濒临榕江出海口，距金平区政府约13公里，与两丰社区居民杂居。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋末元初，先民来此捕鱼定居；明初村名溪头仔，后因人口增加改称大场乡。1932年改名金场乡，1946年恢复大场乡。[2]

1953年建乡政府。1956年3月大场、天港、赖厝三村合为大场乡，1957年7月鮀西又并入。1958年建红星公社，大场为第二营；1960年起成立大队管理委员会，1984年3月大场与两丰又一次合并成乡，1987年1月17日成立村民委员会。1996年12月撤镇后属鮀南街道，称居民委员会；2001年12月起属鮀莲街道。[2][3]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，居委有1841户、7250人，分8个居民小组，面积3.87平方公里。[2]

经济[edit]

居委有耕地3421.95亩，另有海滩涂2365亩。1999年起，按「一村一品」的要求，把2904.04亩低洼田改作养殖虾、蟹的农田。2009年农业总产值2805万元，工业总产值1150万元，商贸产值1870万元。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

辖区内有乾隆八年（1743年）立的天褒节孝坊；庙宇有玄天大帝庙、真君宫、感天大帝庙，还有三山国王庙和天后圣母庙。[2]
