莲江村是珠海市斗门区莲洲镇下辖的行政村，立村于清康熙二十一年（1682年），2020年被授予第六届全国文明村镇，2023年被农业农村部推介为中国美丽休闲乡村。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村后的山形似莲花，村前有河涌，故名莲江；另有一说，周姓族人以周敦颐《爱莲说》为立村准则，结合地形取此名。[2]百度百科说周、罗、何等姓的族人为避战乱、饥荒迁来而成村。[1]

解放后隶新会县第八区莲溪乡；1965年起称莲江大队，隶属斗门县西安公社；1984年改莲江乡，属莲溪区公所；1986年改莲江村委会；2003年起归莲洲镇。[2]

地理[edit]

莲江村在镇的东北部，距镇政府约8千米，位于螺洲河东、荷麻溪西，北接石龙村，南邻光明村，东靠莲花五指山（海拔65米）。[1]

十里莲江[edit]

由于处在市水源保护区内，村里的工业发展受限，收入主要靠农业，一度被市民戏称“珠海的西伯利亚”。后来村里引入企业合作发展生态旅游，形成“十里莲江”项目。[3]据百度百科，该项目由珠海莲江生态旅游开发有限公司运营，占地逾1200亩，2011年成立，设有房车基地、荷花岛露营和荷院民宿；荷院民宿2023年获评全国丙级旅游民宿。[4]

镇政府2022年的报告说，莲江村的“一家一品”商铺当年五一开业，到报告时已接待游客4万多人次；莲江村还入选首批全省乡村研学旅行特色村。[5]百度百科记，2023年村集体经济收入288万元，2024年获评广东省乡村研学旅行特色村。[1]
