历史沿革[edit]

1953年这里与龙江同属龙江乡；1959年单列为横江大队，1962年再并入龙江大队，1965年重新叫横江大队；1983年12月设横江乡政府，1986年12月改村委会，1990年建管理区，1998年12月恢复村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2026年3月，横江村被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
