横江村是惠州市惠城区芦洲镇的行政村，位于镇西南部，面积7.13平方公里，下辖12个村民小组，470户、1887人，梁姓为主（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村中所传，先祖自福建南雄一带迁来，因聚居处多岭岗，取名横岗。后来成立横青乡，村中老人嫌“岗”字不吉，又因地近东江，改称横江。1984年设横江管理区，1998年撤区设村。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地1548亩（水田1078亩、旱地471亩），村集体收入来自鱼塘出租；全村种植甜玉米等作物一千多亩，并发展订单农业。[1]
