横江村是广东省梅州市五华县长布镇辖下的行政村。该村辖6个村民小组，在册468户、2498人，耕地1236亩。[1]
名称由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，村名原作横岗：村头、村中、村尾各有一道小山岗，分别从石含山、大燕册、四角山延伸而下，横在村前河边，古人称横岗，后读音演变为横江。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后头一年为横江乡，1958年改作大队，1989年设管理区，1999年起由村委会管理，沿用到现在。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，横江村以草鱼养殖入选「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」。[1]
