新庄村是广东省韶关市仁化县周田镇辖下的行政村，邮政编码512000[1]。据记载，清顺治元年（1644年）这里已形成新庄墟，村名即取自墟名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

博雅地名网载，新庄墟在清顺治元年（1644年）就已形成，其后“新庄”二字成了村名[1]。新中国成立后设新庄乡，1958年改称大队；之后1984年称乡，1986年称村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1998年撤管理区、设村委会，名称未变[1]。2004年，该村随周田镇由曲江县划归仁化县[2]。

经济[edit]

2022年10月，省农业农村厅把新庄村认定为「2022年广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，产品为柰李[1]。县政府介绍周田镇时，把平甫村和新庄村并列为柰李专业村[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新庄村入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。

据县政府网站的周田镇介绍，新庄村与平甫村同被评为广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」特色产业（柰李）专业村。[2]
