瓜岭村是广州市增城区新塘镇东部的行政村，面积0.6平方公里，有500多年历史，是广东的侨乡，2014年列入第三批中国传统村落名录。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科记载，瓜岭村始建于明成化年间，因村民种瓜定居而得名；博雅地名网则称村子已有五百多年历史。[2][1]

清咸丰年间起，村里就有人出海谋生，如今旅居海外的华侨据博雅地名网所载超过两千人。[2][1]

人口与经济[edit]

村分4个村民小组，博雅地名网记为183户、698人；百度百科记2015年末户籍人口714人。村集体收入主要来自商铺和鱼塘出租，百度百科记2020年为200万元；村民多外出务工。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宁远楼是村里的碉楼，由黄田惠为首的海外乡亲捐资兴建，取「宁静致远」之意命名，楼高四层，钢筋混凝土砖木结构，四周挖有宽4米、深5米的护楼壕，门前以铁吊桥为唯一通道。百度百科记建成于1927年，博雅地名网记为1929年。抗日战争期间，这座碉楼曾抵御日军。它在2002年7月公布为第六批广州市文物保护单位。[3][1]

棠荫楼是另一座碉楼，建于民国年间（1927—1929年），在旧村区四、五巷之间的村后，属2010年3月公布的首批增城市登记保护文物。[4]

央广网2025年的报道称，瓜岭村的麻石古巷间分布着碉楼、宗祠和民国时期的洋房，岭南建筑与西式洋楼在这里并存。[5]

荣誉[edit]

瓜岭村在2014年11月列入第三批中国传统村落名录，2021年9月进入第二批全国乡村治理示范村之列，2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；百度百科还记它在2023年成为国家3A级旅游景区。[1][2]
