草埔村属广州市从化区吕田镇，是该镇辖下的行政村。全村面积约11.81平方千米，在国道105线旁，离镇区只有约2公里；下设11个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口1401人（年份未注明）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来是：当地草地的面积比水田大，故称草埔。草埔大队于1958年设立；1983年12月起同安山、塘田一道并入镇安乡；1987年1月重新分开，更名为草埔村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1]

经济[edit]

村里靠组织劳务输出和发展种植增加收入，旱地种水果，水田种稻，鱼塘养家鱼。距从化市区约54公里。[1]

荣誉[edit]

  • 2019年9月，列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
  • 2023年5月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
  • 2024年11月，被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
  • 2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
