历史沿革[edit]

元田、东星、西星三个高级农业社成立于1950年；1958年各转为大队，1960年合成一个。1983年队制取消，改设东方乡。[1] 村民委员会设于1987年1月，起初归花山区公所，同年3月转归花山镇。[1]
