虎塘村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于广从四路（105国道）旁，面积约2.5平方公里，下分4个村民小组，人口约1500多人，距镇区12公里，村委会设在虎塘西路21号。[1]

地名由来[edit]

清康熙年间何、林、钟、张等姓在“虎园岗”建村，后龙塘的张姓大量迁入，取“龙虎”之意，改称虎塘。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

村里种水稻、蔬菜，养鱼。1958年设虎塘村大队，1998年改为村民委员会。2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
