竹二村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于流溪河边，面积约3.13平方公里，下分14个村民小组，人口约5670多人，村委会设在竹二中路12号。1958年竹料公社把竹料村分为三个大队，这里排在第二。[1]
文化[edit]
村里建有文化楼和老人活动中心，办有书画社，留存三间冯氏大宗祠，每年举行闹元宵、敬老百席、放烟花和舞狮等活动。[1]
经济[edit]
村民以种水稻和蔬菜为主，因道路狭窄，交通不便。2020年8月，列入「广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单（蔬菜）。2004年竹料镇撤并进钟落潭镇，村随之归钟落潭镇。[1]
