地名由来与历史[edit]
1958年竹料公社成立，把竹料村分为三个大队，这里是首个，故称竹一。1987年后大队改为行政村；2004年竹料镇撤并进钟落潭镇，村随之归钟落潭镇。[1]
经济与文化[edit]
村以生产社为单位，种植业和养殖业为主。2022年列入淘宝村名单。[1]
竹一村的“泮塘马蹄粉制作技艺”列入「白云区第八批区级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录」。[2]
