长沙埔村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于广从公路旁、钟落潭镇东北部，紧邻镇中心区，靠近花都区，面积约2.5平方公里，下分12个村民小组，人口约2738人，村委会设在长钟路133号。[1]

经济[edit]

村在流溪河冲积平原上，收入以农业为主，工副业占一定比例。近年依托邻近镇工业园区的条件招商，引入二十多家外资企业，以出租土地增加集体收入。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

西湖社学旧址在迎龙街43号，建于1842年，属「近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑」类，2008年12月公布为「第七批广州市文物保护单位」。[2]
