朝阳社区是广东省广州市越秀区大塘街道下辖的社区[2]，属主城区，邮政编码510030[1]。辖内曾有老街巷朝阳里，社区取其名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，设立居委会，初称贤思居委会；1958至1959年，易名为第二居委会；1961年，划归东山区；1966年，易名为朝阳革命领导小组；1976年，易名为第九居委会；1987年，更名朝阳社区居民委员会。二〇〇二年的调整中，贤思、文德、长塘、朝阳四个居委会的一部分地段重组，名称不变[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设局于2021年11月将其列入「广州市绿色社区」（2021年度）；2024年11月，获评「广州市充分就业社区（村）」（2024年度）[1]。
