历史沿革[edit]
塘洲乡成立于1949年，当时归东安街道办事处。以后的名称有大队（1958年）、乡（1984年）、村委会（1986年）和管理区（1989年）。1998年10月，恩平市人民政府批准复设村民委员会；2006年，东安的建制撤销，塘洲因此划归东成镇。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村476户、1705人，区域面积2500亩，耕地697.37亩。[1]村里有鱼塘40多亩，种香大蕉70亩，并通过招商引入多家企业，转移富余劳动力。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年塘洲村列入「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月，村内朝阳村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
