历史沿革[edit]
村子朝向东方，迎着旭日，故称朝阳。[1]
朝阳乡始设于1949年，1958年成为朝阳大队，1983年改设乡政府；1989年到1998年称朝阳管理区，此后设村民委员会。[1]
近年的荣誉：2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予的2021年广东省卫生村称号；2023年2月，获评2022年度五华县文明村镇。[1]
