地名由来[edit]

村名原作南山塘，村子在河田南部，地势低洼易积水，村中常像一口塘，因而称南塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地解放前归河田乡，之后又设河田区。公社化后组成南塘大队，1984年改设南塘村民委员会。[1]

2024年1月，该村获评2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2024年6月，南塘村入选福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村。[1]

经济[edit]

金花茶是南塘村的“一村一品”产品，龙岩市农业农村局于2021年10月将其认定为市级专业村。[1]
