黄屋村紧靠汀江，距汀州城约1.5公里，属城郊村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来自明末清初汀江边的一座黄姓楼房。过往的路人多从楼下经过，当地便把那一带叫作“黄屋楼下”。[1]

村里一度改名东红大队，后又恢复原名。1984年起，村民委员会名为黄屋村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村东、村南靠近通济岩水库，水库一带的通济岩瀑布风景区尚待开发。博雅地名网称通济岩瀑布属长汀八景。[2]

村内保留着十多处客家民居与宗祠，如巫氏字祠、许氏宗祠等。[2]

文化[edit]

黄屋村连续三年列入淘宝村名单，即2020年、2021年和2022年的名单都有它；其中2021年的名单由南京大学空间规划研究中心和阿里研究院共同发布。[1]

2024年1月，黄屋村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
