红卫村位于宁化县城区西北部，属翠江镇。村子原名复兴，1966年改称红卫，取保卫红色政权之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属县城中的永福坊，民国时期属第一区城东镇，分设永福、复兴、中南、下南四保。建国初期设复兴乡，1958年并入城关公社，称复兴大队；1966年改名红卫大队；1984年划入翠江镇，设红卫村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

伊秉绶故居位于村内五星路18号，占地约374平方米，始建于清代，建筑形制属明末清初南方民居。故居是清代书法家伊秉绶的旧宅，2025年12月31日由福建省人民政府公布为第十一批省级文物保护单位。[2]
