地名由来[edit]
村里曾有一条坑沟出产质地较好的石料，可制墨砚，称为砚耕；后来地貌变化，十多条坑洼连成一片，改称练坑。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设练坑乡，1958年改称练坑大队，属梅县桃尧公社；1986年改作练坑管理区，1999年再改为练坑村委会。[1]
概况[edit]
据百度百科，村域面积7平方千米，分6个村民小组，户籍人口771人；柚子是主要作物，2022年村农村经济总收入为860万元。[2]村内矿产曾用于电池材料生产，块矿已基本采完。[2]广东省公布2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单时（2019年9月），练坑村名列其中。[1]
