地名由来[edit]
村子旧名珠玉坑，与松源镇的宝坑村相邻。相传两地之间曾因地质勘探发现煤、铜、银、铁等矿藏，人们以珠宝相比，故取此名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
清代属梅县大小立堡；1949年设嘉应州松源湖维乡珠玉村；1958年改称梅县桃尧公社珠玉大队；1986年改作珠玉管理区，1999年再改为珠玉村委会。[1]
广东省公布2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单时（2019年9月），珠玉村名列其中。[1]
