地名由来[edit]
此地旧时是黄沙河的出水口，又名雅口，四周沙坝地大小不一、星罗棋布，如麻子一般，称为麻子坝，后简称麻坝。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明末清初这里隶属程乡县饶塘堡。1949年立麻坝乡，归梅县隆文区；人民公社化后成为桃尧公社下的麻坝生产大队（1958年）；之后的建制是管理区（1986年）和村委会（1999年）。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
据百度百科，村域面积9.6平方千米，有410户、1586人，耕地2017亩，主要种植柚子。[2]2017年10月，麻坝村获第一批广东省卫生村称号。[1]2017年起，村里用「地票制」推进「三清三拆三整治」，拆除旧房后引进公司，建起观光采摘园和露营基地。[2]广东省公布2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单时（2019年9月），麻坝村名列其中。[1]
