坑美村是博罗县杨村镇的行政村。[1]
名称与沿革[edit]
村名原为亨美：王姓祖先明初从江西南雄府迁到杨村渡头，其中一子见此处土地肥沃、交通方便，迁来定居。解放初建乡需刻公章，刻章人只凭方言，把“亨美”刻成“坑美”，沿用至今。[1]
清代属苏州巡检司，民国属显村圩第六区清平乡；1955年10月为杨村区公所坑美乡，1958年属显杨乡，1959年设杨村人民公社，1973年为坑美大队，1983年称坑美乡，1986年为杨村镇坑美管理区；1990年起由坑美村民委员会管理。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，坑美村被列为2018年度“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位。[1]
