历史沿革[edit]
白水河流经这一带，村名由此而来。[1]
该村1958年编为生产大队，1983年11月改设乡，1987年又改为村委会，1989年4月起设管理区，1998年11月改称村民委员会[1]。
获得的称号和名单：
- 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]
经济[edit]
高塘水库所属的梯级电站在白水境内。村里引资建水电站，开发矿源，引进木业公司种速生桉，村情材料说上一年创建了一个卫生村。农业以造林为主，水田种水稻、花生。村情材料称这里位置边远，是革命老区村，有瓷泥资源。[1]
