历史沿革[edit]
1998年11月，怀集县政府以怀发〔1998〕20号文批准设立鱼田村村民委员会；因辖内的鱼石、车田两个村较大，各取一字，合称鱼田。[1]
该村1958年编为生产大队，1983年11月改设乡，1987年又改为村委会，1989年4月起设管理区，1998年11月改称村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
村里筑坝蓄水、引资建水电站，并引进木业公司种植速生桉。农业以造林为主，种水稻、花生，养鱼、养鸭和养猪。[1]
