桃二村在沙浦镇西部，背靠大山，距沙浦圩镇5公里。据博雅地名网，元代梁思从南雄迁来建村。^[1]2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元代，梁思自南雄迁此建村。1949年以前属高要县第四区；1953年归第八区桃溪乡管辖，其后经广利区头溪乡、广星人民公社，至1959年2月编为桃二大队。^[1]1986年称桃二村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇，1998年10月起设桃二村民委员会。^[1]

全村有17条自然村、11个村民小组，665户，2200人，耕地2959亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）；2008年村、组两级集体经济年收入合计2169万元，农民人均纯收入6171元。^[1]农业以肇实、水稻、粉葛、莲藕、蔬菜和养鱼为主。^[1]

黄五、李曚、程东福、梁炳、龙北培均为桃二村人，1926年参加农军或农会，1927年12月17日“桃溪反围剿”战斗后被捕，同月被杀害。^[1]

2026年3月，桃二村被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。^[1]
