苏一村在沙浦镇北面，背靠大山，距沙浦圩镇7公里，有西岸、山尾2条自然村。据博雅地名网，明初黄氏从高要金利、何氏从南雄迁来建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代初年，有黄氏自高要金利迁入，又有何氏自南雄迁入，由此成村。1953年归第八区苏西乡管辖，1959年2月编为苏一大队，1986年称苏一村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村13个村民小组，414户，1404人，耕地2270亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）；农民以种养为主业。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，苏一村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]
