沙二村位于沙浦镇北部，与圩镇相距约1.4公里，辖6个村民小组。1958年按区域排序居第二，因而定名沙二村；村内有沙浦农民协会旧址。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
南宋咸淳六年（1270年），陆氏人家由南海冈根村迁来建村；1958年按区域划分排第二，称沙二。1959年2月改称沙二大队，1986年称沙二村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村430户，1400人，耕地1996亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）。以种养和加工为主，兼种香蕉、肇实，养猪、养鱼，村内新建有文化室。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
沙浦农民协会旧址在陈氏长房祠，1926年3月沙浦农民协会和农民自卫军在此成立。[2]
著名人物[edit]
陈友（1900年—1927年）、陈兴寿为沙二村人。陈友早年以卖鱼为生，1926年当选农军副队长；陈兴寿1927年10月“广利暴动”时负责内应。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，沙二村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
