历史沿革[edit]
元代，吴氏人家由南雄珠玑巷迁来建村。1953年归第八区沙浦乡管辖，1959年2月编为沙三大队，1986年称沙三村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇，1998年10月起设沙三村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村443户，1424人，耕地1664亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）。种植以肇实为主，辅以水稻、香蕉和养鱼，种肇实1278亩，肇实加工户有8户。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
沙浦革命烈士纪念碑建于1959年，在西江河堤围外侧，今文化广场西侧。[1]
著名人物[edit]
冯三娣（1873年—1927年）、李佑、梁六为沙三村人。冯三娣1926年当选沙浦乡农会副主席，1927年12月17日牺牲；李佑任农军通讯员，在“沙浦反围剿”战斗中报信时中枪。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月，沙三村获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。[1]
