苏三村在烂柯山脉的大肚岭脚下，往北4.5公里是沙浦圩镇。据博雅地名网，明初伍氏从端州景星坊迁来建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明初，伍氏人家由端州景星坊迁来建村。1953年归第八区苏西乡管辖，1959年2月编为苏三大队，1986年称苏三村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇，1998年10月起设苏三村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村8个村民小组，312户，1168人，耕地2007亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）；2008年村、组两级集体经济年收入合计1616万元，农民人均纯收入7100元。[1]种植肇实、水稻、香蕉、蔬菜并养鱼，外出务工经商的有50户，种肇实、养鱼的也是50户。[1]
荣誉[edit]
广东省乡村振兴局在2022年1月将苏三村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]
