黄布沙村在沙浦镇北面，四面被西江环绕，成一小岛，距沙浦圩镇不足2公里。据博雅地名网，元代梁氏从高要白土小洲村迁来建村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
元代，梁氏人家由高要白土小洲村迁来建村。1953年归第八区沙浦乡管辖，1959年2月编为黄布沙大队，1986年称黄布沙村，1988年3月划归鼎湖区沙浦镇，1998年10月起设黄布沙村民委员会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村4个村民小组，135户，568人，耕地1125亩（博雅地名网，未注明统计年份）；2008年集体经济总收入806万元。[1]耕地为围垦田和河流冲积土，村中家家以种香蕉为主业，九成以上耕地用于香蕉，2000年建成“鼎湖区优质香蕉生产示范基地”。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，黄布沙村列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2024年4月，入选「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
