历史沿革[edit]
明代建村时，因已有龙归村，当地已有龙归村，按旧时说法“有龙必有凤”，便以龙凤相配立意，加上盆地里有成片肥田，定名凤田。新中国成立初期村内分设面岸、北岸两个大队，1980年合并为凤田乡，1986年改称管理区，1998年改称村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
东邻方田村，北到北岸山顶，与乳源县侯公渡镇卢师洞村以滴水线分界，西接盘村村，南以续源的莲花山分水岭为界。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
2008年有14个村民小组、2208人，耕地2150亩，山林8000多亩，农民人均所得4388.1元。[1]
荣誉[edit]
凤田村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，由广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予。[1]
