历史沿革[edit]
后坪小组始建于明代嘉靖年间（约1500年前后），村民祖籍为江西、福建，说虱麻话；带头小组始建于清代乾隆年间，说客家话。后坪原称厚坪，新中国成立后与带头及今属重阳镇的妙联村合为妙坪乡，之后在1959年归龙归公社管辖，1969年妙联村划归重阳镇，后坪、带头分设两个大队，1986年改管理区，原厚坪村改名后坪村，1998年改设村民委员会。[1]另据资料，1951年称后坪乡，2004年划入武江区。[1]
